In addition to our Engineering & Construction services, T-Rex offers 3D graphics and animation. Over the years, our 3D model library has grown into a comprehensive collection of subsea equipment. Since we already utilize 3D software for our design projects, we can take our models a step further. By employing a variety of 3D software, we can create graphics and animations to assist in any stage of design and development. From full scale field layouts to mechanically-precise animated sequences, we have the knowledge and tools to create presentations that will impress any client.
Field Layouts
A typical 2D drawing of a field layout leaves much to the imagination. Our solution is to develop complete layouts in 3D which provide valuable insights as to how pipelines and structures will appear in reality. These arrangements can then be utilized in various ways to assist clients:

Feasibility Studies
Our clients often meet with non-technical partners to discuss the feasibility of future projects. In addition to providing 2D drawings and other reports, we find that offering graphics and animations compliment your presentations as well. Just as a picture is worth a thousand words, animations can convey a great deal of information simply and quickly.
Mechanical models
T-Rex can also create very detailed mechanical models and animations that communicate the logic and functionality of elaborate designs. By utilizing software like 3D Studio Max, we can animate mechanisms to behave just as they do in real-time. Additionally, we can also illustrate fluid dynamics in 3D using Real Flow Software.
